Novatec 50' Islander Cockpit Motor Yacht
A slightly downsized version of Novatec's popular 55' cockpit motor yacht, the Novatec 50' Islander cockpit enjoys the same quality and craftsmanship, just in a slightly smaller layout. The secret to the 50' Millennium success can be traced to a very reasonable price for a quality yacht.
The most popular layout includes two-staterooms and a galley down configuration. Below deck, the U-shaped galley contains all of the conveniences of a home kitchen, and the main salon features an L-shaped settee.
The forward stateroom is complete with a queen size berth, ample storage and a hanging locker and the master stateroom enjoys such features as a walk around king size berth, private head, and even a door leading out to the cockpit for added convenience and safety.
Both the teak or cherry interior woodwork is lush, and the sensation of quality and craftsmanship is no illusion.
The full-width aft deck can comfortably fit table and chairs and includes a built-in wet bar for easy entertaining. Plus, the fly bridge, accessed via molded stairs from the aft deck, can accommodate up to three pilot chairs and an additional L-shaped settee provides plenty of topside seating.
Additional features include a roomy engine room, swim platform, and a cockpit with transom door and molded steps to the deck. There's also a big storage compartment in the cockpit for fenders or miscellaneous gear. Twin Cummins 450-hp diesels will cruise at an economical 14 knots and reach a top speed of 18 knots. A larger engine will cruise in the 20's.
